System Information Type 13

 

This system information carries the information about GPRS implying that it is broadcasted only in GPRS / EGPRS capable cells (If it is broadcasted in non GPRS cells, it would be regarded as an unknown message on UE). This message is sent on the BCCH if indicated in at least one of the SYSTEM INFORMATIONTYPE 3, 4, 7 or 8 messages.
