Digital Cellular communication has eveloved from 2G(Second Generation) through 5G(Fifth Generation). The major type of 2G device is those phones supporting mainly voice call and simple test message. With 3G (WCDMA, TDSCDMA) we start using simple web browing on the phone. With 4G(LTE) and Smartphone, we were able to do almost everything on our mobile phone as we do on PC in terms of web browsing and YouTube etc. As of Nov 2018, 5G (NR : New Radio) is still a future device (i.e, not available to customer). It is intruguing to think of what kind of device we will have and what will be the major use case in 5G.
